Tap at Matilda. Hazy gold with a small white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Banana, pear, green apple and clove on the nose. Medium body and average carbonation with a slight grainy taste on the palate. Very similar to Hoegarden but a little more sweet. Finishes grainy with some cotton candy.

On tap at Len as Flanders Belgian White. A cloudy pale gold with a foamy white head. Juicy orange zest & lightly spices wheat aroma. Soft mouthfeel but it verges from light to watery. The taste is chewy soda bread, candied oranges and spices. Sweet but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Burgermania. Decent wheat character, sweet orange, floral hops, pepper, bit of funk, gentle sour finish. Quite like this one, it does have a pleasant earthy Belgian edge to it.

On tap at Craftman, Kyoto. Light hazy gold with rough, short-lived head. Yeasty, wild nose for a wit, but enticing. Banana, citrus and spice. Light bodied. The yeast really adds to this, and gives it quite a unique finish. Interesting and delicious.

Aroma: very aromatic, earthy roasted grain, pear and grapefruit. Flavor: initial flavors of roasted grain and pear followed on the mid-palate with a moderately sweet, earthy malt with a light bitterness and earthy, grassy character that grows on the finish. Comment: fine combination of carbonation, malt, and bittering. The carbonation attack turns into a middle palate celebration of popping CO2. God balance.

Draught at Tadg’s and Qbrick. Fruity nose. Really dry and sweet. But to me, never annoying. I taste strong vanilla and I like it. This is my perfect compliment as a second beer after an Imperial IPA in my lowly opinion.

Draught at Craft Beer Festa Kyoto (as "Outsider Flanders Belgian White"). Lemony, spicey nose. Hazy honeyish color. Flavor is fairly one-dimensional, sweet, and wheat, but without the spiciness noted in the aroma. Maybe just underdone?

UPDATED: MAR 18, 2016 Tap at the Hangover. Clear blond colour. Small white head. Aroma is slightly skunky, slight spiciness, herbal, bit fruity, malt. Taste is nice, lemon, floury, slight bitterness, lots of biscuity malt. Pretty solid. Have yet to be blown away by Outsider but have high hopes. Rerate at the brewery March 16. Candy floss, pear, interesting. Cherry as well maybe, light wheatiness, bit creamy. I like it more than last time.

Draught at Tadg’s. Pale yellow, cloudy. Malty nose of wheat, orange, lightly buttered toast. Sweet and fruity flavor, spicy but clean and probably unspiced, nicely malty. Very interesting wit, showing signs of wild yeast character. Finishes quite dry with some hops as well. Solid, though a bit too sweet.
