Tap at Waseda Oktoberfest. Pours orange, somewhat hazy, a bit of white foam. Aroma is sweetishly sour. Surprisingly sour also in taste. Watery and messy, bitter with herbal hops but far from balanced and sourness sort of dominates. Drinkable but still a disappointment. willisread (3293) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 22, 2016
Tap at Vector Factory. Simple grassy and malt-forward nose. Some light stone fruit as it warms I guess. Dry and scratchy bitterness on the palate. Lots of malt, but very British and balanced in a British sort of way. Astringent finish. Not my kind of IPA. melush (3941) - SPAIN - MAY 15, 2016

Tap at Beer Cafe Bakujun. 6.5 %. Deep red color, small steady off-white head, lace. Piney, earthy hop aroma. Medium-bodied. Clean flavor. Notes of caramel. Piney, woody, earthy hoppyness leaning towards uk. Sessionable despite of abv. Wombata (623) - Kobe, JAPAN - DEC 3, 2013
Aroma: roasts with dried, roasted peach.
Flavor: like the aroma. Finishes bitter and roasty.

Hoppy citrus nose, some plum. Flavors of grape, fruity malt, roasted nuts. Unusual taste for an IPA but quite pleasant overall. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 26, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 18, 2016 Tap at Himalaya Table. Golden brown colour, not much head. Aroma is malty, like a UK golden ale from cask. Light Citrus hoppiness and bit of sweetness too. And some strawberry... Taste is good, real ale feel again, light citrus, sweet maltiness. Cherry drops. Slightly perfumey even. Nice though. Rerate at brewery March 16. Good stuff, big hop character, some doughiness, tropical fruit, mango, sticky toffee pudding. Nice.
Westkyoto77 (635) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 11, 2013
A deep cherry brown, fuzzy head. Hops, resin, caramel on the nose, but nothing too overpowering. Hoppy enough, but also quite mellow and drinkable. Nothing like a USA west coast IPA, but not much like any other. Nice enough, but just lacked a final knockout blow. Hoppsan (151) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 4, 2013
Draft at Ushitora. Amber color, small head. Nice fresh hops in aroma, but some unfortunate clear defects in taste (metal, sour yeast). Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 25, 2013
Draught at Bungalow, Kyoto. Clear amber - white head. Fruity hoppy. Nice bitterness. Resin. Cocoa. Light chocolate notes. Light mouldy. Not too bad...
