(thanks cgarvieuk). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, chocolate, coffee and also some smoked wood. Flavour is quite much the same. All this after a huge wet "blonde/golden ale" tonguekiss from Craig... one of those moments even I lost words after .)

Cask at Pigs Ear 2011, London. Pours dark brown with a fine, beige head. Moderate roast and rich chocolate aroma. Delicious flavor, rich and creamy chocolate, medium roast, some dry earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Semi-dry finish, light mocha, chocolate chips, short bitter cocoa. Quite excellent. At first I thought this brewery was a bit cocky, but after having this beer they have some license. Theydon_Bois (19200) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2013
Gravity dispense at Merton Winter BF ’13.
Dark black with a big frothy tan head.
Nose carries rich roast malts, chocolate, toffee, background hops.
Taste follows, roasty malt, chocolate leading the way, some hop presence.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation lending towards a dryish finish.
A solid stout. TBone (17441) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 10, 2009

Opaque black color, steady beige head. Coffeish and a bit sticky aroma. Flavor has coffee, cola, grassy hops. Toasted malty. Drinkable but uninspiring.
Cask conditioned at Merton Winter Beer Fest ’13. Black with tan head. Big, burnt charcoal flavours, really bitter and dry, lots of depth, heavy on the palate. The bitterness lasts on and on, liquorice in the finish. Another big tasting beer, very good. Christian (13605) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 16, 2009
¨Black with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity with roasted malt. Dry and very roasted flavour, lasting long in the aftertaste. A little simple and one dimensional.
