Bottle at Peg’s Cycle BA Day. Pours a cloudy gold with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is floral, funk, cherry pith. Medium body, funky, cherry, yeast, spice, dry finish, very good.

A 375ml corked, capped and paper wrapped bottle, 2015 vintage, with a best before end date of January 2018. Poured into a Cantillon ballon glass. It poured a clear golden orange colour with a one finger white head that slowly settled to a thin layer with sparse lacing. Aromas of sweet fruity cherry, almond, apple and cinnamon. Also some wood with a light funk in the background. Taste-wise, I have no idea what cherry blossom is supposed to taste like but this is lightly sour with cherry, apple, wood, citrusy orange and a hint of cinnamon. Light bodied with high to moderate carbonation. Overall, taste could be more sour, but its still nice. I definitely preferred this Sakura Lambic much more than its Yuzu counterpart. I’m also surprised that there is not more floral element in either the aroma or taste though, considering that cherry blossom is used.

Flaske 375ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Drukket på Bergstua 22 Mai 16. Dobbeltkork! Den innerste har stempel fra De Troch Wambeek. Gyldengul. Lavt skum som varer litt. God blomsterduft. Smaken lett fruktig. Blir behagelig syrlig etter hvert.

Bottle at Nedre Foss Gård, july 19th 2015. Hazy golden body with white lacings. Flowery aroma with funk, cherries, pepper and pumpkin spice. Taste is medium sour with flowers, pickles, oranges. Pretty fresh and zesty, dry funky finish. Quite nice, the sakura brings a special flowery element which makes this beer quite unique from other lambics.

Mesjasz (1726) - Lodz, POLAND - MAY 1, 2016
Kolor to prawie przezroczysty pomarańcz, mała biła piana.

Appearance: clear yellow color. frothy head. Aroma: malt vinegar (so intese!) Taste: high acidity! Palate: medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. acidic finish! Overall: this is not the most complex lambic, but it certainly is intense. combo with fish and chips and yo are home.
