Draft. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (lemon oil, kumquat), with notes of candy, scented soap / household cleaner. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
A rather sour and clumsy concoction. Smells a bit more like something I’d use to clean things with than drink. I think I tried a taster of this once before a year or two ago, and was instantly disappointed...so it remains this time with a full glass. Draft at Cooper’s seafood house. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Has a bit of funk on the nose. Dry on the tongue. Lots of horse blanket and funk. Draught. Pours a lightly hazy yellow with a moderate, sudsy white head. Aroma is grass, light yeast funk, cheese, earth, floral hops, and a hint of peach. Taste is peach, lemon, grapefruit, grass, floral hops, and light bread. Light bitterness. Light/light-medium body. Soft carbonation. Tasted on 9/7/16 on draft at Hops Hill. Pours hazy deep yellow with an average off white head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is pretty clean, plenty of yeast spice, musty white peppercorn, dry bread malt, and some spicy dried herbal notes. The flavor has a touch more funk, damp earth, still very spicy, both from the hops and yeast, dry bread, with a bit of bitterness on the finish. The body is medium with just above average carbonation and a long spicy on spicy and lightly bitter finish.
