Bottle, Batch #8. Pours hazy orange, large white head, good residual and lacing. Aroma is very Bretty, clean funk, damp basement, dust, oak tannins. Flavor is musty, dusty, medium funk, clean though, no cheese whatsoever, dry, almost a fruitiness, oak tannins, low acidity with just a tiny hint of tartness. Barrel aged pale ale is a soft gold with a whisky white head. The taste is oaky brett and wheat with mild citrus hop notes. Very round carbonation and soft bodied with a tart candyish flavor and ascerbic finish. Hop candy goodness.
