Bottle from lukaduke, thanks again. Pours a beautiful burnt orange with a white head. Has a beautiful citrus and fruit aroma that I get with most Belgian farmhouse. Has an amazing citrus taste with a hint oak. Has a clean finish with no bad after taste.

Bottle shared with the boys. Aroma is pure funky bliss. Barnyard, oak barrel, slight bandaid, and some white wine. Pours straw yellow to orange with nice bubbles and a big fizzy head. Glad this was cold because a slow foam started coming out the top as soon as it was open. Potential gusher. Taste was saison bliss. Barnyard, Niagara grape, brett funk, roquefort cheese, and earthy oak. Nothing is too sweet or bitter or sour or mellow. This is the best saison I have ever had. I could drink this every day and die happy.

Bottle, Batch #8. Pours hazy orange, large white head, good residual and lacing. Aroma is very Bretty, clean funk, damp basement, dust, oak tannins. Flavor is musty, dusty, medium funk, clean though, no cheese whatsoever, dry, almost a fruitiness, oak tannins, low acidity with just a tiny hint of tartness. Light body, soft champagnelike carbonation. Well, holding this one for three years definitely worked out OK. This is a lovely beer.

Bottle purchased at the brewery. This is delicious and I wish I bought more. Pours golden straw colored with white foamy head. Aroma is lemony funk, peach, vanilla, lacto, biscuit maltyness. Taste is nicely tart and moderately sweet with fruity notes and a light spicy hop backbone. AMAZING.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2014 Quelle belle crature! Elle me rappelle une certaine Russian river au nez et la premire gorge. Foin mouill, agrumes surettes, vin blanc et cuir samusent dans ce dlicieux liquide.

Rating #2483 - 2016.05.03 - Bottle at Bru Pours a clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma is oak, floral, estery, Brett. Medium-high carbonation, medium alcohol warmth, decent body. Palate holds more barrel character, with loads of funky Brett and sweet fruity notes. Lovely.

Initial bottle at Three Penny Taproom. Huge thanks to Lukaduke for also sharing a bottle later that evening. Pours a clear golden color with very nice carbonation and a good eggshell head. Sticky lacing. The nose carries a distinct saison profile underneath a bit of acidity and a good dose of funk. The flavor brings the acidity more to the front. This immediately reminded me of some of the De La Senne saisons blended with lambic. Fairly similar to some batches of Saison Vautour as well. Hay, lemon, straw, faint grain, and earthy funk all blend incredibly well with the backing acidity. Body is light and very crisp. Smooth lactic finish. Very inviting. An excellent beer.
