Rating #2483 - 2016.05.03 - Bottle at Bru Pours a clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma is oak, floral, estery, Brett. Medium-high carbonation, medium alcohol warmth, decent body. Palate holds more barrel character, with loads of funky Brett and sweet fruity notes. Lovely. IPAMeister7 (81) - - SEP 10, 2017

Initial bottle at Three Penny Taproom. Huge thanks to Lukaduke for also sharing a bottle later that evening. Pours a clear golden color with very nice carbonation and a good eggshell head. Sticky lacing.
The nose carries a distinct saison profile underneath a bit of acidity and a good dose of funk. The flavor brings the acidity more to the front. This immediately reminded me of some of the De La Senne saisons blended with lambic. Fairly similar to some batches of Saison Vautour as well. Hay, lemon, straw, faint grain, and earthy funk all blend incredibly well with the backing acidity.
Body is light and very crisp. Smooth lactic finish. Very inviting. An excellent beer. biggsbowler (629) - Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA - JUL 4, 2013

This is fantastic. The normal farmhouse pale while also quite good, serves as a prefect stock for this barrel aged stunner. Drink for balanced sour flavor and intriguing aroma, or just drink. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 27, 2013
Damn this is good. A big thanks to justdrinkit for bringing this back for me from the brewery. Pours a cloudy light apricot/gold pour. Nice fluffy white head. Flavors of hops, funk, wet hay, toothpick, tart roasted lemons. Leather, and barnyard funk. Damn straight. MartinT (10155) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 23, 2013

Coniferous brettanomyces builds floral and citrusy fireworks which can be witnessed while being hypnotized by an underlying oily, vanilla-rich oak.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam settles atop the cloudy blond.
-The big, natural bubbles remain soft on the palate.
-The flavor profile is also peppery at times.
-The rusticity in this one is ably balanced with the oak. Both are nicely aromatic.
Bottle at Torst. Pours gold with white head. Nose and taste of oak, Brett, Meyer lemon, funk, hay and citrus. Dry finish. Medium body. Dogbrick (14344) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Batch #8. This brew pours a cloudy pale golden color with a medium foamy white head that dissipates gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dank hops, yeast and citrus. Medium-bodied with a delicate floral hops character and flavors of citrus, earthy yeast and vinous oak. The finish is slightly funky with an oak and hops aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.
