Long musk, sweet wheat, delicious, bitter toast on the finish. johnnnniee (4236) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 25, 2012
On Tap at Eb’s
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color with a fleeting off white head that leaves some stickage on the way down. Smells of lemon and funk with bits of wood and bready malt deep underneath. Earthy, bready, lemony, funky flavor with bits of wood. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a tart mouthfeel. Interesting brew. A funky pale on wood sounds like its going to be a mess, but somehow it all melds together nicely and it just works. radarsock (1188) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 21, 2013
Swingtop bottle thanks to lukaduke. It was for our agreed IP trade. Many thanks! Reads "Batch # 6" on the side. Luke had told me this had been aged in both bourbon, and blueberry wine barrels. Awesome! I can definitely taste a vague blueberry character by finish. It pours a sandy light orange with a soapy whitish head, two fingers in length. Aromas of lavender, pickled pears, Italian sweet pepper, refined sugar, tin, algae, lactic acid, artichokes, limeade, and wood. Tastes delightfully tarted, earthy, and bittersweet... much like a gueze. Has an interesting seawater bite by swallow, accompanied with dandelions and grape must. As many have mentioned, this has a dry texture. I liked this this. alexsdad06 (10266) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 5, 2013

The flavor is dry grassy, oak, citrus, apples, funk with a mild tart character and some acidity. Interesting mix of flavors. RobertDale (6376) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - DEC 12, 2013

Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de brett en arrière goût. Pour is hazed yellowish amber with a fairly tight white head. Nose doesn’t offer much barrel, has some interesting farmhouse notes and a present lemon aroma. Taste has a hint of wood to it, a touch sweeter, lemony esters and a moderate farmhouse yeast. Medium body and a strong carbonation with lingering sweetness. _angst_ (4802) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 5, 2015
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2015 Bottle bought @ Etre. Pours hazy golden with no head worth mentioning. Smell is tiny fruity, funky and rustic with crackers, lemon juice, pineapple, star fruit, grapes, hay, dry soil, leather, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sour, fruity and funky. Mouthfeel is flat, dry, tiny tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sour and tiny bitter with crackers, lemon juice, lime juice, pineapple, white grapes, papaya, hay, dry soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Nice fruity funk. Lovely to say the least. Pity it’s completely flat. conway (2210) - - SEP 20, 2015
