COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Farmhouse Pale Ale is our American interpretation of a hoppy saison. Belgian pilsner malt provides the base for an abundance of American hops and our farmhouse yeast to shine together in this refreshing ale.

Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with bubbly white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of nice funky farmhouse notes over lemon and mild acidity. Taste follows, nothing over the top, nothing bad, really well done tart saison. I could drink this all summer long.

Ernest (7747) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 30, 2017
Draft. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, grapefruit), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of pepper and gum. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation. Seems to play it a bit safe and simple, but it’s a solid enough saison, and only a tad Americanized.
