Hazy red color with a medium, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Lots of fruit, strawberry, cherry, raspberry, wood, and a tart finish. Travlr (27103) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 30, 2017
Draft at Salud. Hazy reddish amber color. Nice mixed berry aroma with lemon and tannins. Taste is softly sour woody forest berries. Delicious. willisread (4046) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 7, 2016
Tap at Craft Heads. Big oak and raspberry nose. Almost lambic like. Some gooseberry maybe. Soft carbonation but not flat. Bone dry finish that lingers. Good funky, tart, dry beer. Probably my favorite from the evening. jinroh (2660) - ESTONIA - MAR 27, 2016
Pours darker shade of amber, bit of foam. Aroma is packing loads of homegrown fruits, I am most surprised about clear strawberry profile, it is not overshadowed by cherries of raspberries. Drinks tart, balanced with fruit sweetness. Just the right amount of tartness there, works like magic. Fruity and would accompany some sweet vanilla ice-cream, would not need any real fruits, just this beer as a side-drink to turn that experience fruity. TimE (6407) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAR 25, 2016
Deep red mahogany color. Huge fruitiness with raspberries and cherries in the nose. Medium tartiness, light body. Big lingering fruity finish that is slightly tart. Love it. Don’t know it is amazing amazing but damn good.

3oz pour at Max’s Belgian Fest 2016 pours a hazy amber with a ring of white head. Nose has mixed berry, strawberry, a little cranberry, some lemon, passion fruit, band aid. Flavor is tart with unripened strawberry, passion fruit, lemon, heavy cranberry juice, some mild spice. Tart finish. AirForceHops (8286) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 20, 2015
Draft at Novare Res. Awesome deep ruby color lasting pink head on the liquid. Aroma is like walking through a berry patch. Raspberries and strawberries can be smelled before it reached my nose. Chalumeaux (1945) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 19, 2015
The flavor is a balanced blend of the berries with the yeast and light barrel notes to give a slightly more complex level of flavor. The dry oak barrel and yeast cuts down the sweetness from the berries. After Nick Evans shared some with me, I order a full glass. Wonderfully done.
Poured from tap at Novare Res thanks Justin/Nick. Pours somewhat ruby red with a small white head. Aromas of fresh red fruit juice and a hint of oak. Taste is pure balanced bliss. Awesome. WillRunForBeer (2810) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 19, 2015
Taste shared by Nick at Zwanze. Thanks! Pours rose garden kid with an off white head. Aroma is fresh wild strawberries! Wow! Flavor is the same, tart wild strawberries, tart cherry. Damn. JBPortland (1582) - Virginia, USA - JUL 13, 2015
On tap at Oxbow Portland, pours semi clear bright ruby red with a finger of head. Nose is soft with some wet field grain, a hint of funk, nice bright cherry skin and mixed red berries. Taste is light bodied, low tartness, nice balanced interplay of semi sweet tart cherry juice, some raspberry, strawberries don’t seem to play a huge role in the profile, a bit of old oak pokes in, some dusty grain. Finishes mostly dry, ocean spray fruit punch, bright berry, some earthy wet cereal grain and a hint of earthy funk bring up the tail end. Super refreshing and balanced.
