Keg at the brewery. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose holds zesty lemon and biscuity pale malts, some straw. Light sweet flavor with pleasant dry dough, some salty sourdough bread, lemon peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, lightly bitter, with further hay, citrus peel and restrained, biscuity pale malt sugars. Great balance, super drinkable. Great.

On tap at Novare Red, Portland, Maine. A yellow, unclear beer with a small white head leaving curtains. It’s quite fruity on the nose, with some grains. Citrusy and lightly flowery. It’s dry, medium bodied and with a high but nice carbonation level. There’s an appropriate bitterness in the flavor, it’s fruity and lightly grainy. Lasting finish. A thirst quenched. Easy drinkable. 150609

Keg at Positive Pie, Montpelier. It pours clear amber with a thick white head. The nose is soft, spicy, ginger, dough, cereal and toasty grain. The taste is smooth, sweet, white bread, cereal, toasty grain, icing sugar and light source with a short, dry finish. Light - medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Too sweet for my liking. Still OK.
