Pint at the Old Manor in Bracknell. Nice creamy, bubbly head over a clear copper brown beer. Light, bitter, a touch dry, biscuity. Hint of fruitiness to it once the initial bitterness wears off. Perfectly acceptable but not that exciting. Light hop aroma, fairly non-descript.

Cask conditioned handpump Cordwainer Northampton. An amber coloured beer with a white head and lace. A husky grainy beer with plenty of barley flavours. There are some strawberry aromas. An odd beer which is nowt special but is probably as good as I’ve had from this brewery.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2012 Cask at The Justice Mill, JDW, Aberdeen. Pours clear gold with a tight, creamy head. Sweet, doughy and lightly toasted malts in the aroma. Sweet flavor with some creamy caramel, toasty dough, and light, leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Sweet finish, some toasted sugar, hints of fruit and vanilla, caramel, bread. Fine, it’s fine.

Hand pulled cask at the Moon & Sixpence (JDW) Hatch End. Amber with a lively off white head. Toffee malt and very few hops. Nice pump clip but a shame about the beer! So bland.

JDW, St Albans. Mini crawl after the St Albans 10 Mile run. Thin, slightly tart amber beer. Few hops. Ugly beer. I’ve just checked on my previous experiences with this brewery, and it hasn’t been good.

niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2012
On cask at Jdw, stoke. Not a dark ale. An average copper bitter with strong biscuit hints. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
