Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Chestnut with cream head. Rich, nutty bitter, decent maltiness, earthy with a leafy note, doesn’t really develop on but quite drinkable.

Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton. Brassy, misted..with some snowflake-like tufts of foam at the edges. Good, grassy, thistle-like continental hop aroma, lightly buttered. Buttered grass taste. Some dunked biscuits, cream. OK but tiring.
