3.1
SarkyNorthener (4562) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, - NOV 18, 2012
Bottle. Hazy dark amber in colour, residue head. Aroma is very bready malt. The taste has a lot of dark ripe fruits, malts and caramel. A little too carbonated for my taste. This is a strong tasting beer. OK for a change.

Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Mar 2011 - Amber-Brown in colour. Malty; toasty malts, caramel, hint of chocolate. Fruity; apple, hint of citrus orange. Hoppy; earthy, spicy hops. Sweet earthy malty fruity throughout. Dry in the finish. Liked this a lot. Very drinkable. (2011-03-22)

A proper real ale. Tastes much better than it looks. Smells of banana & tastes very malty.

Bottle courtesy of Mike & Martha. Amber with a cream head. A slightly odd taste. Malty with toasty notes, a little banana, some spice and quite a lot of metallic flavour. Different but not brilliant.

mcberko (17178) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 9, 2014
500mL bottle, pours a clear amber with a large white head. Nose is subtle, with toasted bready malt and a very slight English hop profile. Flavour is identical, with notes bready caramel malt that dominate. Very dry body with moderate heaviness for the style and ABV. Decent but boring.

2.5
hotstuff (5140) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 26, 2014
Rated on 2-16-2011 (Bottle) This beer has a large frothy, very fizzy ivory head that mostly diminishes, transparent orange body, fizzy carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is malty, fruity, nutty, and musty. The taste is fruity, malty, bitter, and somewhat harsh tasting. The mouth feel is lively and this beer is light-medium bodied. I am not a fan of this beer as the flavor is harsh and this beer has a lingering bitter aftertaste. This is not a beer I will entertain drinking again.

ThirstyBird (2914) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2013
Pours orangish/brown with a tan head. Smell is malty, nutty, fruity. Taste follows the nose - ends dry and woody. Body is light and the carbonation is slightly below average and fine in structure.

MichaelAwesome (6516) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - AUG 16, 2013
Classic one. Not really special but quite decent with its own advantages. Bit hoppy with some grass and leaves. Mild in the end and very drinkable, easy going ale.

3.4
McTapps (6856) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 16, 2013
Pours out in a clear amber colour with low head and medium body. Nose of ripe hops and caramel. Taste of medium bitter hops, light malt, nuts, caramel, light whiskey and leaves. Quite dry and bitter mouthfeel and finish. Easy and smooth to drink, really enjoyable.

3.5
Philym (1003) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2013
Appearance: Clear copper with two finger thick white head. Aroma: Apricot, citrus, biscuit, floral, syrup/caramel and dried fig. Taste: Low/medium sweetness, medium bitterness and sourness. Dried fruit verging on fruit cake, slightly vinous with note of pepper. Palate: Thick texture and medium body with prickly carbonation. Abrupt sour/bitter finish. The bitterness increases. Comments: Very good and left glass lace.

2.5
yiannnos (1254) - , CYPRUS - AUG 7, 2013
Amber colour. Light bodied, fruity, some caramel notes, nothing too exciting
