Bottle. Copper/Dark Amber in colour. Hazy. Malty; biscuity malts, caramel, hint of chocolate. Hoppy; earthy and slightly spicy hops. Full flavoured. Earthy hoppy mildly bitter over sweet malts. Dry malty finish. Drinkable. (2009-11)

Bottle from Waitrose in Witney. Pours amber with a fading off white head. Musty fruit aroma. The taste is musty metal, pepper and stewed fruit. Quite a dry finish. Slighty unpleasant dry finish. Pretty bad.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden copper with a medium white head. Nose is mushroomy and fairly bland overall. Flavour is fairly fruity, with light bready notes, restrained English hops, and some light caramel. Light, balanced and refreshing. Decent beer.
