Draft at the brewpub during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours murky gold with a creamy head. Good citra hops in the aroma, some ripe fruits as well. Medium sweet flavour with bready malt character, notes of ripe citrus, faint minerals. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet on the finish with light resin, moderate woody dryness. Tasty, not bad. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 7, 2014
Sampled at Oysterhouse during RBWG 2014. Pours a hazy golden orange color with white head. Rum, booze, citrus, tropical fruit flavors. Interesting, kinda cool. A touch lighter that I would expect. jackl (8417) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 25, 2014
Sample @ Oyster House during RBWG, Asheville. Hazy amber pour with a small head. Strong rum barrel character, damn. Mashed banana and spice. Hot wood. Citrus and pine. The taste is pretty boozy. Hot sticky toffee pudding. Banana dessert. A bit of citrus fruit is dominated by the sweet booze. Definitely an unbalanced beer, but not without some charm. alexsdad06 (10778) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - APR 27, 2014
Draft sample at the brewpub during RBWG. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have an interesting blend of base beer and barrel; citrus and mildly resiny hops, a hint of soapy florals, caramel, toasted bread, wood and nice enhancements from the rum barrel. Adds some sweetness and smooths this out a bit, but it was enjoyable. drsordr (2861) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - MAR 14, 2014
Draft to taster at RBWG. Pours hazy copper. Nose hop predominant with pine and resin. Taste pine, slight household cleaner(but in a good way), then rum. Smooth mouthfeel from the cask. Mid palate sweetness and a high bitter finish.

Draft shared by Leighton at the brewpub- thanks, Leighton! Pours a hazy, dull orange-gold with an off-white head that laces the glass. Notes of citrusy and tropical fruits, coconut, vanilla, sugar, and toasted malts. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, malty, juicy mouthfeel. I was skeptical, but this one showcases both the rum and the citra hops and works pretty well. Fun beer. thebsmitty (138) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 20, 2014
Cask during RBWG. Pours dark burnt orange color with excellent head. Smell is very citrus, aged wood. Taste is citrus, lemon, grapefruit, slight rum, and my favorite... dill. This reminded me of White Oak Jai Alai cask from CCB, thought this was similar, and better. Excellent stuff. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 20, 2014

>> Murky, deep orange pour with good cask foam. Nose is fairly dank Citra hops. Lighter body, nice hoppiness, not sticky at all. Somewhat soapy if anything. Not not sure why you would age an IPA...
Taster on tap at OysterHouse during RBWG. Nice citra hop in the nose. In the flavor, good light rum notes. Some vanilla creme aromas. Amber, copper, mostly hazy color. Thin off-white head. Dots and ropes of lace. Moderate sweet, light zesty taste. Very tasty, interesting, balanced rum barrel aged IPA.
