Pours one finger on a clear light straw colored body. The aroma is grain and rice. Boring. The taste is sweet through and through. The texture is fizzy, light body and sticky with moderate carbonation. Its not the worst... but it has its place.

Faint aromas of grass and yeast. Pours a pale yellow with a small head and lots of lacing. Fresh solid lager tastes. Nothing too distinctive but its been around forever I guess for a reason.

Another classic common beer. Nothing special, just like the others common from the 80s. No match against the good tasty craft beers or the superior quality ones.

Part of a 4 beer flight at TJ Stone , Washington DC in May 2017. A Not beer. No real character for a lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gave PBR a try and was surprised by it. Its not a mind blowing, hoppy, flavor packed beer, but no one buys it expecting that. Its a surprisingly smooth, not too carbonated for the style, inoffensive beer that has a grainy/corn malt with a slightly sweet finish that disappears quickly. Nothing offensive or funky flavors even from a can. For a macro lager its actually decent on a hot day working in the yard or a day of fishing.

Enjoyed - ironically - by the hipster crowd despite being a watered down uninspired example of the traditional lager. The "cool thing" - ironically - created by people whose sole purpose of ordering was to make a point of mot ordering the "cool thing". ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours pale yellow with foamy off-white head, malt aroma, lightly sweet slightly yeasty taste, thin body, abrupt finish. Well, I had to go and try it after reading about in so many paperbacks, though I must admit that its not too bad.

Love this 🍺! Reminds me of great times and fun! Nothing better than a cold PBR on a hot, sunny day 😊

355ml can. Clear yellow with a frothy white head. Flavors are slightly sweet cereals, lemon and corn syrup with mineral notes. Light body, moderate carbonation, slick texture.

Canned. Thin but sessionable. Wheaty. Not bad frankly compared to other macros.
