Might be the best of the garbage American domestic beers that I've had. It was a little too fizzy, but "it goes down smooth." I think Red Dog finally has competetion for being cheap and not making me gag. The price is definitely right.

PBR is America. It tastes like Abe Lincoln freeing the slaves. It tastes like revolution. This is the beer that Sam Adams would've actually been drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pbr is not an amazing beer, but when I need a cheap beer to drink this is the one I drink hands down ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From old tasting notes. Pale greenish gold color. Creamy white head. Faint sour malt aroma. Clean tasting, light flavorful brew has zesty carbonation. Lacks any real body or character. Light dry finish and aftertaste.

It is what it is: cheap, cold, refreshing, American and a typical session beer. Donít like it, donít buy it. I enjoy drinking this watery swill when I donít feel like a heavy IPA, Porter or Stout. This is to say, this goat pee has its merits!

17Beer (339) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 21, 2017
Faint aromas of grass and yeast. Pours a pale yellow with a small head and lots of lacing. Fresh solid lager tastes. Nothing too distinctive but itís been around forever I guess for a reason.

Another classic common beer. Nothing special, just like the others common from the 80ís. No match against the good tasty craft beers or the superior quality ones.

Part of a 4 beer flight at TJ Stone , Washington DC in May 2017. A Not beer. No real character for a lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gave PBR a try and was surprised by it. Itís not a mind blowing, hoppy, flavor packed beer, but no one buys it expecting that. Itís a surprisingly smooth, not too carbonated for the style, inoffensive beer that has a grainy/corn malt with a slightly sweet finish that disappears quickly. Nothing offensive or funky flavors even from a can. For a macro lager itís actually decent on a hot day working in the yard or a day of fishing.

eruizgarcia (337) - - MAY 14, 2017
Enjoyed - ironically - by the hipster crowd despite being a watered down uninspired example of the traditional lager. The "cool thing" - ironically - created by people whose sole purpose of ordering was to make a point of mot ordering the "cool thing". ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
