Rating 2900! Vintage can, expired 6/12/06. Pours a clear, dark gold with a half finger bright white head. Aroma of corn and grains, a little cotton candy. Taste is light bitter, mostly grains. Slight hint of oxidation. Nothing spectacular but it’s held up really well for an almost 10-year old beer. Headbanger (3989) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 27, 2012
12oz can-Pours clear yellow with no head. Aroma of nothing. Taste of water with a little nothing. This light bodied brew is not too good. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 2, 2008
12oz can from heemer77. Thanks Eric. The can boasts 70 calories per 12 oz serving. "We know of no beer that is less filling or more refreshing", it says. Poured a clear pale urine color. The head fizzled quickly and settled to a thin lingering film. Although the nose was not particularly attractive (fresh saltine crackers and broth), I’ve smelled worse. Exceedingly watery mouth feel. I wouldn’t be surprised if the specific gravity was exactly 1.0 as the 2.5% alcohol could theoretically balance out any contents that might otherwise bring it above the specific gravity of water. The flavor was similar to the nose, dainty crackers and soda water. The only way this could get much worse is if it were infected. Of course, the likelihood of that ever happening would be slim to none as most bacteria would have a pretty difficult time scratching out much of an existence in this medium. iowaherkeye (2703) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - JAN 6, 2008
Bah, I lost my rating. 12oz can, no date from heemer77, thanks Eric. Incredibly pale straw with a one finger fizzy white head that lasted about 10 seconds before fading to a very thin ring. Aroma had some faint vegetables and watered down sweet malts. Flavor added a bit of watered down soda tang and a fleeting memory of drinking the last ounce of my dad’s crap beer when I was five. Thin, watery mouthfeel with light to moderate fizzy carbonation. There is nothing offensive here because there is nothing here. heemer77 (5355) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - DEC 23, 2007
I got a case just so I could rate this one. I am happy I did and am willing to swill down this 70 calorie masterpiece anytime. Pale gold body with a bright white head. The aroma is old sweat socks and strawberry plants in the summer. The taste is like club soda with a little bit of carrot juice in the bell pepper spice finish. Not much else going on as I would expect. Considering the product, this isn’t too bad. Wait, 2.5% abv? This won’t even get you drunk. I take back what I said earlier, this was a waste of my money and I am going to lower my rating due to the low abv.

If you’re going to drink Pabst, stick with Pabst Blue Ribbon, not this stuff. You’ll be much happier. beerbill (3616) - Laurel, New York, USA - AUG 16, 2006
12 oz. can. This is pretty balnd stuff. Pours a pale yellow with a fizzy white head that disappeared almost instantly. Scant aroma of corn. Watered down corn cereal flavor. As with most light beers, have a water instead. uglyblond1 (177) - Nebraska, USA - JUN 15, 2006
Compared to Pabst Blue Ribbon, a slightly better than avaerage macro, this is bad. Not the worst around but close enough to see the pack at the bottom. Not much aroma, VERY light body, much like Coors light. Little to no flavor, thin and bland grain if anything. No really bad aftertaste is all that keeps this out of the worst even in an unspectacular class. Beerdedone (3390) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2006
Can. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of grain and corn. Flavor is weak, watered down, corn, and grainy. Thin bodied, nothing good here. rafalweb (11) - USA - OCT 14, 2005
Urinate in a can, refrigerate, and drink. That way, you save money, and there really isn’t any difference in taste! You buy this junk if someone has a gun to your head, and for no other reason.
