12oz can (Old Notes)-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is just another pale lager. thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Can. Used to be able to find this stuff all over the place in 2010. Have not seen it at all since. This was a great macro pale lager for the beach. Too bad I can’t find much of it anymore. brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 22, 2010
A: The pour is a pale golden color with a big white head that has pretty impressive retention.
S: Lots of sweet corn notes as well as a fair amount of apple juice. There are hints of metal as well as a subtle grassy character.
T: Corn and grain husks start things off with some noticeable metal and a slightly watered down flavor following. Lightly bitter with some hints of malt flavor, actually.
M: The body is light with a high level of carbonation. Fiarly crisp, actually.
D: For an adjunct lager, this is actually not bad. Sure, I don’t think I’d drink this all the time, but you can definitely do worse. sbtimc (1) - , Alabama, USA - OCT 18, 2008 does not count
Previous comments: "a wannabe MGD", for "loser frat guys and hicks," (yeah, that was meant for PBR but it’s basically the same shit), "worst beer on earth."
Seriously speaking, yes this beer can does look like MGD, that’s why I gave it a 5 on appearance. Taste isn’t too far off Bud/Miller, so it gets an 8. Those loser frat guys are probably getting more tail drinking this shit than any of you pussies trying to feed chicks patron, so take your small man complex and shove it, this beer isn’t too bad. No flavour whatsoever. I thought, judging by the can, that this was going to be Pabst’s version of Miller Genuine Draft. I’m sorry to say that I, and evidently many others, got played. Then again it’s bum-cheap, so what am I complaining about? It’s my dumb-ass fault for buying something, anything from Pabst. Then again, I’ll still drink it because I’m tacky and poor. :(

Look, I’m a beer snob too but sometimes I just want to get blasted by drinking the cheapest beer possible. When thats the goal, I choose the best(and cheapest) beer I can find. When I’m lucky that beer is PGD. Sure it’s no Stone IPA, but I’m getting a 24pack for $9.
PBR is trash. PBR is for loser frat guys who think its funny, novel and cool to drink PBR. It’s also for hicks.
PGB, in comparison, is all class baby! bhensonb (15505) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 21, 2007
Aroma of grassy hop and corn adjunct. Brassy gold color with a white head that rapidly filmed. Thin bodied. The sweetness is not so corny as anticipated. The bitter is essentially non-existent. It does have a clean taste. If that’s not a tad oxymoronic to refer to taste with a mainstream lager. Works to wash down a burrito on a hot day. It’s not really objectionable, it’s just got no flavor going for it. brianjames1 (539) - Northridge, California, USA - MAR 24, 2007
worst beer on earth, wannabe miller genuine draft can, this beer is a poser, last time i had it was my first night living on my own in college i will never forget it and how disgusting it was grant (842) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAR 13, 2007
From 12 ounce can. Pale, but not quite fluorescent, yellow. Very faint head. Light hint of malt in aroma, with minor metallic notes. Quite sweet at the beginning of the sip, followed by a wan toasted grain flavor. Small, but noticeable amount of hops bitterness at the close. 12 ounce can. Single-blind tasting. Cloying metallic, floral aroma. Lots of sweet, cloying aromas, though. Very light transparent yellow body with a small white head that has decent lacing. Overly carbonated, sweet, sugar, grainy body. Milky. No hops, but sweet watery flavors are abound. Way too carbonated and just too damn sugary.
