Tap at PBAH. Really poorly done, this just isn’t good. Aroma and taste lacks the claimed citrus and floral hops. Very grassy/straw taste and aroma. brokensail (16648) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 10, 2014
On tap @ PB Ale House. Orange colored pour with a white head. Bready malt, a bit of toast, and some salt on the nose. Quite vegetal and briny. Flavor is straight up kombu/seaweed. Light bread, salt, and brine. Fair amount of bitter grass and some cooked vegetables. Gross. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 3, 2014
[ Tap ][ PB Ale House ][ 4oz ][ Taster ][ $1.5 ][ 2/1/14 ]ghawener (1614) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JUL 14, 2012
>> Pours clear amber, weak foam. Nose is citrus hoppy, caramel, flashes of seaweed. Taste is salty, citrus, mild soap, apple, seaweed. Palate is likely bitter, drinkable. Again, very bland.
Draft: Sampler. Thin, lacks body and complexity. Weak grain bill. Food Pairing: Flatbread sounds good. Ron (4185) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUL 7, 2012
On tap at the Pacific Beach Ale House. Poured a nice white head with some lacing. Aroma of hops. Good flavor of hops and malt.

Bronzed body topped by a filmy and silky head. Aroma and flavor are fresh and assertive. Armed with PNW hops in fair proportion to the malt body. Citrusy, fruity, and a splash of grapefruit. bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 19, 2010
Draft. Golden beer with a cream colored head. Malt and light grapefruit aroma. Malt and grapefruit flavor with light pine and light earth. Medium bodied. Malt and grapefruit lingers with light pine. IrishBoy (4233) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAY 29, 2010
Draft at the brewpub. Nose of floral and lemony hops. Clear shiny copper with a medium glass lacing off white head. Very nicely hoppy for a pale ale and bitter with a touch of caramel for flavor. iowaherkeye (2804) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - OCT 17, 2009
On tap @ the brewpub. Clear medium gold with a one finger off-white head, fading to a thick film before long. Cascade citrus up front with some lightly earthy caramel malts. The flavor has the Cascades turning pretty sweaty like they usually do, with some light clean caramrl behind. Semi-dry with bitterness @ a 4. Light prickly carbonation with a light to medium body. Fair--inoffensive, but nothing special. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 18, 2009
On tap. Clear yellow pour, white head. Malt, earthy notes, grapefruit, cirus, and hops. It’s okay for the style.
