Tap at PBAH. Pours dark black with tan head. Aroma is peanut butter, chocolate and roasted malts and taste is similar. I actually liked this quite a bit, some cool peanut butter flavors on it, however I don’t think they were intentional. ghawener (1607) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JUL 14, 2012

On tap at the Pacific Beach Ale House. Dark reddish brown pour with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor, much the same with a little bitterness at the end. BillKismet (4076) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 15, 2011
Sasparilla body topped by a ring of head. Moderate, but certainly noticeable influence of black patent in the aroma and flavor, but pretty forgettable overall. dnstone (3431) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - APR 2, 2011
Roasty aroma. Light brown in color. Pretty much your average porter, not bad.

Pours dark brown with a large, fizzy looking but long-lasting, tan head that leaves good lace. Smells subdued just like every brew here. Mostly smells of dishtowel with a little bit of roasted malts. Tastes roasty and sweet chocolatey again with the dishtowel. Medium, somewhat watery body, good carbonation. IrishBoy (4212) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAY 29, 2010
