On tap. Dark reddish copper brown with a creamy white head. Skunky, wet grain, and roasty aroma. Bright silky palate. It’s brewed with kelp. Ok. So what the fuck does kelp taste like? It’s got a smokey burnt pumpkin sort of taste, which makes this an interesting brew. Notes of caramel, grain, sugar, and more burnt stuff come through on the finish. UPDATED: DEC 20, 2012 Tap. Pours clear red amber with a small off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is light grapefruit, pine, and caramel. Flavor is about the same. Initial flavor is quite nice, but it is watery and fades very quickly. Medium sweetness with candy-like notes and light bitterness. Body is light and watery. Draft. Copper beer with a dark cream head. Light dark malt aroma with light caramel. Ligth dark malt flavor with backing hops. Medium bodied. Light dark malts linger with backing hops. Non-descript beer.
