Found a couple of these beers in our fridge at work (have I mentioned I love my job). Smooth, with a crisp flavor. Not a bad beer, and one I could enjoy many of on a summer day.

i think it’s a decent lager as far as lager goes. very similar to tecate or corona.

Similar to Corona, some bonus points for the interesting lable. Not an exciting beer, but a refreshing one that is good with Mex. food.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2005 One of the better Mexican beers out there- at least it is after an overnight hike on the "Goat Ass" trail in Big Bend. Nice effort as far as a pilsner goes-- easy drinking, slight hops, almost no malt; very approachable and much better with the obligatory lime plunked into the mixture.

Slightly floral aroma. Light yellow color. Flavor is non-descript, defintitely some of that Modelo metalic taste. It is extremely overcarbonated. At least the mouthfeel is light. The aftertaste is slightly bitter. A bad beer from midling brewer.

Similar to Corona, except that it comes in a dark bottle. Light tasting, watery, forgettable.

i really enjoyed the pacifico. picked it as a random choice off of a mexican restaurant menu and, expecting a corona, was pleasantly surprised. this is a great beach or lake beer, or anywhere with sun for that matter. quite refreshing and good if youre not looking for a very sophisticated taste.

Bottle. Not a lot of ready reason to drink this. Low aroma, clear golden color, same flavor and little finish. Good reason to put fruit in a drink.

I have to go against the judgement of my peers on this one. I liked it. Enjoyed it at a Mexican restaurant poured from the bottle into an icy mug. First impression was one of tartness similar to IPAs. However, the flavor soon smoothed out quite nicely. It will never pass for a top quality beer, but the smooth flavor made for an enjoyable drinking experience.
