I was expecting either a Corona knock-off or a weak Tecate-like beer. It was neither. Cool bottle and packaging, very light yellow with an actual hoppy aroma. Decent flavor and bite, and definitely better without a lime.

Pale, very clear, almost metallic body with a thin, big-bubbled white head that fades quickly and completely. The aroma is sweet and actually has a respectable bit of grassy hops. There’s a bit of cooked rice in the mix as well. The flavor is a tad sweet up front, but fairly dry in the finish with a bit of bitterness and something that’s almost salty. I don’t think I really like it all that much. Very watery.

This beer pourswith a pale yellow body topped by a thick white head with a decent amount of lacing. The weak aroma is slightly sweet and grassy with noticable corn notes and a slight medincine note. The flavor is very watery and bland. I can see why so many people drink this beer in San Diego...It like drinking water. Light bodied, smooth and a touch dry.

Actually, not a bad bohemia style... tried it with and without the lime... was better without. Like other mexican beers, it suits the cuisine and climate of its country of origin.

Yellow beere with small dissapating head. Faint grassy aroma. Light malt with some sort of chemical apple, with some oiliness. Light hops in aftertaste, very thin. Boring.

I tried this while in Newport Oregon. Every other beer I had that week was a Rogue brew of some sort, so it would admittedly be quite difficult for a pale mexican beer to impress me while competing with Rogue’s stouts, porters, browns, and ambers. Needless to say, I was unimpressed. Aroma was decent but weak, and the beer poured a perfect shade of urine with a soapy, weak head. Flavor was likewise weak. It did have a pleasant crispness to it, and it was rather refreshing, but nothing exciting. In fact, it reminded me most of Coors light in all its watery, thin glory. Not a good beer by any means, but I’ve had worse (i.e. bud light).

Good quencher, and my favorite of the pale mexican lagers. Certainly not my favorite style.

Very pale yellow... no head. Smells cheap and grassy. Taste is grassy and very bitter... nothing great... but it feels nice going down.

Pale yellow coloured. Notes of banana in the aroma. Notes of apples in the flavour and in the aroma. Very thin and watery.

The aroma has hints of sweet fruit. The flavour is slightly malty and quite carbonated. An average boringness.
