From my dear brother: Pours black with a creamy head. Some salty pretzel smell, dark chocolate malt, and a hint of coffee. Taste is lightly bitter. It is very dry, Leaves some lingering dryness and dark chocolate. Not bad. maley1 (1273) - Calgary, CANADA - JUL 28, 2013
Dark brown, almost black pour with small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, slight coffee, chocolate and hint of sweetness. Taste of roasted malts, slight coffee and chocolate, lactose. Medium carbonation, full bodied and a nice velvety mouthfeel, almost creamy. Excellent stout, definately one of their best offerings. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 18, 2013
At the Rev and loving it. Pours an almost opaque black with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee and notes of cocoa and dark fruits. Flavour is made up of bitter and dry roasted malts, espresso, cocoa, and a nice velvety mouthful. Tasty brew.

Pours a clear black with a frothy brown head that lasts a while. Aroma of chocolate, mocha coffee, roasted malts and faint dark fruits. Taste is chocolate, coffee, cream and the body is nice and slick from the oatmeal. Excellent oatmeal stout. dfinney23 (3268) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Everything you look for in an oatmeal stout. Coffee and chocolate with some dark fruit. Not too sweet. And smoooooooooth. JorgeLee (2110) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2013
On tap at Charcut, Calgary. Decent deep brown black colour, something of a head. Wasn’t labelled as oatmeal stout and I’d never have guessed, more of a pleasant but unremarkable dry stout with roasty malt and a dry finish. Quite quaffable, but mouthfeel and smoothness of oatmeal stout not there. Travlr (24633) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Draft at Calgary brewfest. Dark maroon color, tan head. Nice aroma of rich cocoa. Taste is equally rich coffee grounds. Very nice.
