Notes from my backlog: Effervescent rich golden pour with a huge white head. Nice fruity aroma- soft vanilla notes, lots of yeasty bread crust and phenols. Nice crisp dry body and flavor- bread crust, crackery with a light peppery phenol note and herbal finish. Simple but dry. Nice.

355ml bottle pours a golden orangeish color with a finger of off-white head which leaves a few specks of lacing on the glass. Aroma is slightly grainy with some citrus. Taste is grainy with some citrus and a lightly sour finish. A decent saison but nothing really special.

[3376-20100915] 355mL bottle. Little corny yeast and mild moss aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a big medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Grainy moss corn hints in the flavour with a mild bitter aftertaste. Medium body. OK but not great.

2010-09-15. Crisp golden body with a large foamy white head. 3+ Flavour is fairly dry and spicy, peppery notes over a dry malt core, finish has a slight bitterness and lingering dry malt with mild pepper. Aroma is similar with peppery spice over muted malt. Enjoyable, refreshing. Bottle via trade with Savvy1982

Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 17, 2010
Bottle from Dany! THanks. Pours a hazy dusty cloudy blonde with a massive frothy head. Aroma is musty, light dank, very crackery and cobwebby with some modest tropical fruitiness, and very grassy- and a touch of citrus orange peel with some dull old raw yeastiness. Flavor is crackery and dull earthiness, some corn sweetness, apple, simple pale malts, and a bit lifeless overall, leather and earth in the finish- a bit weak overall, but not bad either.

puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - APR 1, 2010
Bottle from Paul. Light, bright, very wheaty aroma, super dry, slight bitterness, quite nice. Enormous, ridiculous head. Flavor is a big let down, kind of skunky, though dry, a bit of old hop bitterness, locker room. A bit too much body.

scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - MAR 25, 2010
Juicy watermelon and canteloupe aroma, biting carbonic edge too. bright gold, sticky lasting white head. clean sweetness, gentle. no spice.

Wheat, hay, dust, orange and some light lemon notes with a hint of banana. Pours hazy golden with a bubbly soapy head. Dusty airy wheat and hay, soft lemon with light yeast notes.super airy carbonation which creates a very light but bitey mouthfeel with lemon notes lingering.

12oz bottle, thanks scrizzz. Crystal clear golden with thick loose rocky white head. Damp honey apple grass with some floral notes. Sweet apple grass with some pepper cracker as well. Very thin and more of a pale lager to me.

12 oz. thanks clint and kyle! pours a crystal clear light amber with golden edges. loose off white head. big hay and grass nose with some white pepper. fizzy lightish body. very mild mid palate with a bit of grass. neutral finish.
