Bottle - Raisin, some prune and dark malts. Deep brown with a rich beige head. Dark raisin and some malts with a dark almost boozy finish. bdleedahl (478) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - SEP 3, 2016
2015 version. This years version is a nice malty one, with Belgian notes that have been subdued over the months. All around one of their better beers.

On tap at Luxalune in Winnipeg. Dark amber-brown pour with a soapy tan head. Aroma is dark fruits, grape and raisin, blueberry, toffee and caramel. Flavour is much the same, but very sweet. Low carbonation, pretty flat and dry, medium bodied but plenty of flavour. Interesting. YigSvartka (304) - Manitoba, CANADA - FEB 1, 2014
Diminished aroma, but consists of dried fruit and cinnamon. A very light and refreshing ale that tastes more like a lager. Some roast. Stunted hops. Tedious, but ok. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 18, 2014
Pours a clear reddish brown with a small off white head that quickly turns into a thin ring. Aroma is rich malty sweetness, caramel, dark dried fruits, spices, light banana and chocolate. Flavour is rich maltiness, chocolate, dark dried fruits(mostly raisin and light cherry), spicy clove, caramel, medium sweetness, and a touch of alcohol on the finish. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 16, 2014
Pours a clear deep amber with a ruby hue and a small light brown head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of toffee, caramel, raisins, plums, vanilla, biscuit and light spices like cinnamon. Taste is caramel, brown sugar, sweet dried fruits, grainy, biscuit, hint of vanilla and spices with a touch of alcohol warmth on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium carbonation and light for 8 percent, almost kind of wattery. Overall a nice easy beer to drink and a good winter warmer but needs more body and a fuller mouthfeel. cards04 (2832) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 23, 2013
Average. Pours reddish brown with aromas of bubblegum and dried fruit. Similar flavors... I found this a bit watery.
