Bottled. A dark brown beer with a brown head. The arom ais sweet with very strong notes of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, chocolate, and roasted malt, that lends it a bit of acidity, as well as light notes of coffee, leading to a dry and bitter finish. joergen (28412) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2007

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of sk8viking. Pours an opaque black with a dense, creamy, beige head leaving a pretty lacework. Aroma of bitter chocolate and burned malts. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel. Accents of hard roasted malt, vanilla, coffee and dark chocolate. The finish is dry with a subdued bitterness. Lovely. 290607 Oakes (17831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 1, 2007
Very dark brown. Rich dark chocolate, molasses, malt aroma. Soft, yet chewy malt character with dark chocolate notes. Lots of roast. Slightly watery finish tempers this.

(12oz bottle, thanks kmweaver) Black body topped by medium tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, dark chocolate, very inviting. Taste is mild sweet, very bitter chocolate, too much so. Soft light-medium body. Lubiere (13984) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 12, 2007
A deep dark porter with a thick moka head. A aroma of freshly ground coffee bean and bitter chocolate, wonderful. In mouth, a dry bitter chocolate with coffee grinds, light aicidity points, with a rich sustained bitterness. Wow! Thanks to Pintbypint for this one. thewolf (12631) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2007
Bottle. Pours a reddish black with a firm off-white head. Aroma has plenty of milky chocolate and a good dose of rye. Mouthfeel is surprisingly thin, only letting a medium of chocolate flavours come through. Sammy (12350) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 4, 2007
Dark chocalate with white head, and chocolate in aroma. Middling mouthfeel, bittersweet taste with drying finish. Quite good porter. DuffMan (10451) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 1, 2007
Dark hazy brown with a thin tan head. Very rich aromas of dark chocolate and espresso bean. Semi-sweet silky palate of rich chocolate and roasted malt, slightly nutty. Beautifully made porter that strikes a perfect balance between the ingredients that define it and pure drinkability.
