Clear golden beer with small foam head, citric aromas with some malt notes. The body is quite medium with the expected and specific end for a pilsner.

Bottle from Jungfernsteig station, Hamburg. Definitely dry, slightly powdery too - got it..... plasterboard. Yep. Some mineral flake at the edge. Some holiday fish food. Maybe iodine, maybe salt lick. Not polished, but fairly OK.

the aroma: malty and herbal with shades of grain, yeast and straw... the taste: clear and refreshening, malty with notes of grain, herbs and hay... the aftertaste: bitter and dry...

0,5cl can from tankstalle. Just arrived in Kornthal Munchingen. Sweet malts, cardboard, bean juice. Quite bitter, moderate sweet. Thin body and soft carbonation.

07-05-17 // 500ml can at Hamburg Main Station. Macro lager from the can, not a pleasure. Drinkable, with a mild bitter hop finish. Grainy body. Smooth.

From a 50cl bottle. A nice long lasting frothy head and a sweet, malty taste with a hint of citrus on the palate. It’s not a sophisticated beer just an easy drinking pilsner which has not much to complain or rave about.

2.2
GlassBrass440 (321) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 3, 2017
Production date: 08.11.16 Aroma: Sulfury and metallic. Light pilsner malt. No hop Appearance: brilliantly clear medium gold. Bright white head that mostly dissipates relatively quickly. Good lace though. Taste: no real hop character. astringent bitterness. An acidic tang like sparkling mineral water. Hollow middle palate. Short, bitter finish. Palate: Thin. Almost watery but a mild sweetness coats the mouth to give a fuller impression.

Not bad German beer and cheap in Oman. Kind of like Bitburger but not as good. Good if you want that hoppy central european beer taste. More flavor than your Dutch or other European Macros.

mikske79 (1690) - Puerto Plata, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - DEC 17, 2016
De geur is lekker. Mooie blonde kleur met een goeie schuimkraag. De smaak valt mee, geen hoogvlieger, maar zeker niet slecht.

Can 0.5 l, petrol station @ A 4, Germany.
Jasnozłote, mocno nasycone piwo ze śnieżnobiałą, obfitą, gęstą i puszystą pianą oraz raczej słodowym zapachem. W smaku pełne z lekko metaliczną goryczką na finiszu.

BeerandBlues2 (13640) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 20, 2016
Bottle from a random German petrol station. Pours clear and sparkling deep gold with a small, fizzy white head, mostly disappearing with no lacing. Aroma is sweet corn and husky Pils malt with faint earthy and spicy hops. Flavor is sweet grainy and husky, corny Pils malt with light earthy and spicy hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.
