COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deadly Rhythm, by its very name, creates a graceful balance between Pacific Northwest hops and a blend of American and English malts. Floral and fruity hop aromas provide the introduction to the lightly toasted malt backbone of this beer. This American pale ale finishes dry with a smooth but lingering bitterness.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2018 Huge white head from bottle. Some cereal grains and malts. Not sure what this was going for.

Head pours too large. Slightly hazy orange under the off white fiam somewhere. Aroma is nice, flowery, citrus, spruce. Taste is similar, but a somewhat acrid finish. Mouthfeel is standard, light, again, under the foam.

Draft at Merrior. Bright, clear, golden-orange. Sheeting head and strong lace. Nice, clean pine, grass, citrus hop aroma and flavor. Crisp, moderate bitter, easy drinking.

Bottle. Bright yet musty pour of orange-yellow, with a sticky, rolling top of white foam. Light, subtle aroma of the Pacific Northwest. But on the palate, this explodes with a flurry of very piney, fruity hoppiness and goodness. Delicious! Nice sticky mouthfeel, too. Give me more. (#6810, 10/29/2017)

Super hazy peach and copper coloured body with a bronze glow and a super thick, frothy, seven centimetre tall tan head - very nice looking throughout. Aroma of fresh grassy and herbal hops with some resinous and lightly piney hop elements as well, some moderate sweetness and a nice biscuity malt. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and very perfumey hop bite at first that shows some fresh pepper and a dose of more bitter endives and rocket/arugula herbal qualities, also showing some mellow sweetness and a hint of honey in the middle. Aftertaste is dry, but on the very fresh side of the hops with the grass, pine and pepper all showing through and leaving a very and quite pungent kick near the end, but without any perceived alcohol, nor malt nor cloying qualities - very nice and light all around, but absolutely full of flavour. Overall, a very nice APA that is perhaps one of the best I've had in a long while. Sort of like a Light IPA, but this one shows more malt, a lot stronger bite and a more robust profile in all corners. Definitely worth trying if you like hops, well-executed beer styles or a beer that is slightly on the light-side, but heavy on flavours. I sampled this pint-sized, sixteen ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Fairfax, Virginia on 10-September-2017 for US$3,49 sampled at home in Washington on 24-September-2017, just two weeks later.

Toast and cereal on the nose, with some tropical fruit. Middling palate, grainy and definitely weighted to the malt side. Drying finish.

Can received in trade from solidfunk, thanks for the opportunity! Moderately hazy light golden color with a decent sized long lasting bubbly white head. Bready toasty malt on the nose with some citrus earth grass and light pine. The flavor follws the aroma quite well, more earth and grass than citrus and pine. Faint peppery phenol in the finish. Pretty solid pale ale actually!
