Bomber from Brewforia. Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy/foamy beige head. Aroma is mildly citric over some roasted malt. Near full bodied. Foamy carb. Flavor is a little herby, a little citric, nutty, and some other things. One of the tastier ambers I’ve enjoyed. aaron_bossart (39) - Idaho, USA - AUG 1, 2012

Aroma: The nose has some caramel malts, toast, bread, and a little bit of earthy hop
Appearance: It pours a clear reddish-caramel color with a beige head and mid-heavy lacing
Flavor: Tastes similar to the nose, with the mid-sweet maltiness up-front, and a light hop bitter backing
Palate: It is medium-full, with a rather creamy/smooth mouthfeel, a soft carbonation, and a lightly dry finish
I have to say, this one was kind of a hidden gem. I’ve seen it sitting there at Colonial a few times, and I haven’t purchased it. When I got it today, I wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be pretty solid. This one is fairly malty, but the little bit of hops that are there provide some nice balance. I actually thought it worked pretty well, and for only $4 for a bomber, that’s a heck of a deal.
Bottle:   Coppery caramel in color, fairly clear, large foamy light beige head, dies quickly, sparce lacing, little to no carbonation.   Pale malty nose, has that slight powdery sugar like aroma I find in pixie stix.
Pale maltiness up front, dies quickly.   Not very hefty.   Hops are minimal.   As it warms I am finding a very very pale burnt apple cinnamon oatmeal type tinge to the smell.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Malt
base is decent, but this one lacks zing.   Finishes without much character.   Fairly boring, decent, nothing off about it except for the pixie stix aroma.   Meh... Syzzer (736) - Oregon, USA - AUG 10, 2011
Smooth and easy to drink while it upholds a medium body. What it lacks in deeper complex flavors, it makes up in drink-ability and sustained solid malty flavor

Brilliant melanoidin red with poofy head. An absolute malt-forward amber from start to finish. Intense, toasty malt nose, melanoidig and vienna accented with some nut. The flavor is boldly malty and toasty, again with a touch of nuttiness. Warming toastiness. Hops definitely do not get in the way. A fantastic, deep and round amber that will be fantastic for the fall and winter season. Reid (2675) - Salem, Oregon, USA - MAY 28, 2010

In appearance its a dark, reddish amber with a small light brown head. The head doesnt last long at all.
Very caramel, bready aromas..some nuttiness i the back. Nice though.
Like the aromas the taste is very caramelly, soft toffee and nuts slight hop in the back. Tasty if you like maltier beers.
Nice and thick/smooth on the palate.
Overall a very nice malt driven amber.
