PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.
Sold as Palm outside of Europe.

Great tasting ale - got mine at my local Publix in Birminham, Alabama; surprised this wasn’t listed on ratebeer as it’s been available in my area for many months.

Bottle. God I'm so undecided about this beer. Is it a bog standard lager with a fancy dress on or is it a unique beer which should be respected. I don't even know myself. It has a gorgeous colour but barely any aroma (good or bad, who knows). Half of the beer tastes very cheap lager like, but there is this spicy ending to it and some strange other elements i cant put my finger on (belgian, english bitter....).

Bottle. Medium white head on a deep golden body. Floral, some grapefruit, some esthers. Medium sweetness, soft tart notes, very faint bitterness. Soft, slick medium body with soft, lively body. Okay.

Sebilinz (2621) - Linz, AUSTRIA - NOV 10, 2017
Bottle. Clear amber body with large lasting white head. Aroma is malts fruity yeast. Taste is malts yeast hints of fruits. Aftertaste is malty.

nephirem (622) - CROATIA - NOV 9, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l. Clear copper/ruby pour with thin layer on top, instantly vanishing. Nose quite unimpressive, a bit generic. Lots of yeast and toffee, some unpleasant cardboard notes in the background. Thin body with quite aggressive carbonation. Light texture, very fizzy. Taste and aroma follow the nose - generic and one dimensional. Belgian yeast, caramel and toffee. Some breadiness. It feels quite industrial and mediocre. Lots of acidity. Short finish, a bit dry. Overall, mediocre effort from a brewery that supposedly dates back to 1747. Meh.

A Belgium classic. Golden amber pour, this Belgium ale is a perfect beer to replace pilsner in case you don't want to drink craft beer all night.

Benters (76) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2017
Pours a clear, dark golden colour with lasting white head. Aromas are of lightly roasted malts, grain, some caramel with some fruity esters and hint of spice. Taste is malt forward, a refreshing caramel, fruity and honey-like sweetness with a subtle bitterness coming through in the finish. Medium-bodied beer, a little thin but very refreshing and enjoyable to drink.

many bottles consumed in belgium, netherlands and brought home :) i suppose it could be considered an entry level belgian beer, and is based in malt flavours. it is very easy to drink.
