Perfect for any occasion and will easily replace your ’regular’. Can be too sweet for some, but just right for most. noheinie4u (37) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 24, 2003
Thoroughly enjoyed this one...had it in the Netherlands...good taste, thick head...not overly strong... Juergen_F (21) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 4, 2010
Palm can poured into Palm glass. Palm has virtually replaced pilsener in my fridge as ’everyday-beer’. The reason is simple. This beer has the drinkability of a pilsener but as an added bonus, has much more flavor to it. The medium roasted malts give a copper red-browinsh color and as a result make the malts shine trough a whole lot more when compared to standard pilsener. Because not much hop is used, what you get is a velvet, smooth, honey-like malt taste. I like that a lot. Availability is not a problem for me because Palm has declared the Netherlands as their second ’home-market’ after Belgium. I can find Palm in can or bottle in any supermarket and that is good thing. Like De Koninck from Antwerp, Palm falls in the category of the ’Speciale Belge’ ales, this means easy drinkability combined with a great taste and a moderate alcohol volume. Palm is a year-round ale; refreshing in the summer and warming in the winter. I highly recommend this beer. GrooveDaddy (27) - Bham, Alabama, USA - JUL 8, 2012
Great tasting ale - got mine at my local Publix in Birminham, Alabama; surprised this wasn’t listed on ratebeer as it’s been available in my area for many months. MarkSachon (1029) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Draft with Mitch at Claddagh’s in Pittsburgh after the Icicle Bicycle ride. Clear and crisp, with lots of delightful bouquets of flavor. Not your typical overly yeasty Belgian style beer.

One of the best, relatively ’normal’ Belgian ales out there. Perfect to just drink and not worry too much! Antoine007 (9) - lyon, FRANCE - MAY 25, 2016 does not count

bottle and draft almost weakly.
belgium’s most famous amber . a 5 percenter, thats drinks easely, has a very good, sweet, buttery taste, i’d say its a bit to wattery for me, but than again, its a 5 % beer, and compare this to a lager ( thats way more watery) so i’m not gonna give it that negative point. if you wanna drink something light -> here is your best option Campy877 (189) - Michigan, USA - JUN 29, 2013
It's like a barley ale meets a hard cider. Very crisp and fruity but with strong barley malt flavors and undertones. Tasty!
