COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.
Sold as Palm outside of Europe.

Palm is very easy to get where I live plus it’s a good beer makes me drink it a lot. Nice color, nice head, a bit of a fruity taste and good aroma. Nothing wrong with Palm.

many bottles consumed in belgium, netherlands and brought home :) i suppose it could be considered an entry level belgian beer, and is based in malt flavours. it is very easy to drink.

Light grain taste is watery with a lot of grain and a lasting head. Medium body. In general its sad this is shipped outside their community.

this one has become really pervasive recently on an allagash white tap ubiquity tip so I caved and bought a cheapish sixer just to have something to rate. It pours a robust amber color with a thin foamy caramel and frat basement floor smell like like Proust’s madeline type flashback to really college party beer smell stuff. The taste is not repulsive, nor is it pleasant, it is just a mildly cloying, mildly basic mix of yak and hops. There are many worse things out there and maybe this is a good gap beer like Newcastle, Blue Moon, or Negra Modelo can be. Good for Willie Nelson and Smackdown Live confluence and the ever ending quest for the return of thines own most specialist boo boo.

At the Town Crier, Toronto. Pours a huge foamy head and has a clear amber appearance. Aromas of malted barley, yeast and light wheats. Flavours of malts, grains, mild earthy hops and a little bit of spices. Also some fruity notes. fairly wet mouthfeel. Slightly slick sensation. Very much light bodied. Not too bad, but pretty average for a Belgian pale.

Bottle sample from backlog notes. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have corn, cereal, skunk, yeast, some sweetness, a light metallic note, not very good.

Pours dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of malts, grains and some esters. Taste is rather sweet with a light bitter finish. Then, fruity and caramel notes. Medium body, high carbonation. Decent.

Can33. Belle couleur orange/ambrée. Mousse blanche stable à 0.5 cm. Nez : fruits (abricot, cerise, agrumes), caramel, candi. Bouche : fraîche, maltée, fruitée/sucre, un peu d’épices. Peu de complexité, peu d’amertume mais pas mauvaise tout de même.

A bottle from Beers of Belgium drunk at Dad’s place while home on leave. Aroma: fruit, strawberries, iron. Appearance: clear golden-amber, minimal head. Palate: light-bodied, rather thin, average carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. Taste: medium-sweet and bitter, mixed. Respectable beer.
