PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.
Sold as Palm outside of Europe.

Serving: 330 ml bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a deep copper color with a small and fleeting white head. Then nose smells like a Budweiser brewed with Belgian yeast. It has a slight beery tang on the tongue with a fair bit malt sweetness and bubblegum. I wouldn’t mind a little bitterness for balance. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Pretty meh.

Bottle sample from backlog notes. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have corn, cereal, skunk, yeast, some sweetness, a light metallic note, not very good.

WarMan04 (320) - Bydgoszcz, POLAND - JUN 12, 2017
Pours dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of malts, grains and some esters. Taste is rather sweet with a light bitter finish. Then, fruity and caramel notes. Medium body, high carbonation. Decent.

Can33. Belle couleur orange/ambrée. Mousse blanche stable à 0.5 cm. Nez : fruits (abricot, cerise, agrumes), caramel, candi. Bouche : fraîche, maltée, fruitée/sucre, un peu d’épices. Peu de complexité, peu d’amertume mais pas mauvaise tout de même.

Luneylane (193) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - MAY 24, 2017
A bottle from Beers of Belgium drunk at Dad’s place while home on leave. Aroma: fruit, strawberries, iron. Appearance: clear golden-amber, minimal head. Palate: light-bodied, rather thin, average carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. Taste: medium-sweet and bitter, mixed. Respectable beer.

MetalMurphy (717) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 7, 2017
tap @ belgian pub (krakkow) amber colour, medium body, average carbonated, fizzy, hoppy, yeasty, weird taste, I didn’t liked it

floydslip (399) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 5, 2017
Amber beer with a thin foamy bright white head. Nose of light caramel, unbaked dough, and wet cardboard. Flavor is semi-sweet with caramel malt, almonds, and buttered toast finished with a mild bitterness. Decent beer.
