2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Light gold with a small white head. Nose is grainy and semi-sweet. Light grassy notes and faint hops. Taste is a bit corny but is nicely hopped and grassy. Light lemon notes as well. I expected typical nonsense with this, but if this had a German label instead of Brazilian, it might rate higher. Body is crisp and light. Mild carbonation with a bit of dryness around the edges. Finishes grassy and lightly hopped with a mild sweetness and pleasant maltiness. Bit of lemon here as well. Not anywhere near as bad as I thought, this is actually a pretty decent pilsener.
08-07-17 // bottle at Bierbörse Mainz. Meaningless, light bodied pale lager. redders1974 (1473) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2017
Bottle at home gold with thin head touch of corn quite sweet inoffensive enough BrewLieutenant69 (2) - - JUN 1, 2017 does not count
I like the palm tree with crazy foot, but the beer is thin and basically tasteless. Why brew something this boring and dull? I bought it for the palm tree, but never again. wombat23 (1419) - Texas, USA - MAR 22, 2017
Bottle. Pours clear pale gold, very short-lived white head. Some sediment floating around. Aroma of apple juice. Taste is apple juice, grains, corn. Very sweet finish. Terrible. Svesse (8601) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 27, 2016
(Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, honey, nuts, corn and cardboard. Malty taste with notes of crisp-bread, honey, nuts, sugar, boiled vegetables and a tinny finish with low bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness (not overly sweet to say something positive). Might very well fill a purpose on a Rio beach on a warm summer afternoon, otherwise mainly bland and pointless.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy pale straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, corn, and light herbal. Mediocre aromas, some mild malt and earthy hops; but very poor strength. Flavors of cracker, corn, and light herbal hops. Minimal earthy bitterness on the finish. Medicore flavors; very bland and lifeless; but decent malt/hop balance for what is present. Light-medium carbonation and very light body; with a smooth, crisp, dry, watery, and lightly grainy mouthfeel that is mediocre. Very clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a pretty poor pale lager. Very bland in flavors; but it’s crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. No real flaws or off flavors; just very watery and flavorless. Towey1989 (2829) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2016
Bottle at Beyond The Pale, Leek. Pours a clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grain, slight bready malts, a little nuttiness and subtle grassy hops. Taste of grain, some bready malts, slight nuttiness, a little orange and subtle grassy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A light, grainy bitterness in the finish. A plain and simple pale South American lager. Nothing more to say. Florya (2023) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 4, 2016
