Once when Franz was anger in 1835 in Tuscany to visit, the hostess Nonna brought him a jug of fresh grapefruit juice. Anger mingled spontaneously a few splashes of tangy sweet juice in his beer. The result inspired him.

Erzengel (9080) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2013
Lecker!
Test vom 5.5.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,12,10,12,11 - 11,15

Koelschtrinker (20772) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 8, 2011

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Looks like pink grapefruit juice. Most of the aroma is pink grapefruit, the same goes for the flavor, both initially and in the end. This one is probably the least beer-tasting radler I’ve ever had. Thin on the palate, sourish and bitter. Nice enough, but not as a beer. 100815
