Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Big thanks. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy, short-lived off white head. The aroma is malt, sweet fruits, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich fruity, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

PanMarek (438) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 20, 2017
Dark, clear golden pour with thick, bubbly beige foam. Bitter finish, medium / light body with little fizz. Dank notes in the nose. The malty flavors were disturbed by a strange dank, musty (not yeasty) flavor. I have to think the keg had gone off. Unpleasant aftertaste.

Gravity cask at National Winter Ales Festival. Amber with a small white head. Malty aroma with caramel and diacetyl. Sweet malty flavour with a fruity note

Grumbo (2947) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2017
Historic rating, had this whilst staying in Charmouth, Dorset both bottled and cask at the local pub. Rated on cask experience. Poured a clear amber colour with a frothy, lasting, off-white head. Aroma of moderate malt, caramel, biscuit, and lighty roasted. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. One of the most enjoyable ales discovered during our week in the west country.

On cask. Pour is light brown with slight red tints. Aroma and flavor of slight malt, toffee, and herbal hops. Finish has some light fruit. Easy to drink a lot of this.
