3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Plastic can. Golden orange and still. Aromas are earthy mixed apple with musty barnyard vinegar. Lightly eggy with peppery alcohol and lemon. Flavours are bittersweet apple with earthy, woody dry notes and citrus and vinegar tartness. Spicy and fruity to finish. Pretty good.
Bottled; Pretty flat and pretty Golden ... Pretty rich and only a slight funky vibe ..cobwebs , must , sticky apple . my palate leans to dry cider and i drink this lamenting that its not dryer . But a pretty decent Scrumpy though ! fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 10, 2010

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 10, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.
[ As Palmershayes Medium Sweet Cider ABV 5.8% ].
Clear medium yellow orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy sweet apple, sour apple, acetone, nail varnish removing ! light honey. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, acetone, dry dry. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat.
Cask. Clear yellow with no head. Sweet honey and apple in the nose. Light body, completely flat, sweet apple accents yet still lots of acetone. Only slightly astringent. 220110 DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2010

Big tannin aroma. Golden coloured sweet on the palate and strong in alcohol with lots of tannin present in a lasting finish.

From the barrel from Middle Farm, courtesy Rastacouere. Clear gold colour. Rather rubbery aroma. Plenty of sweet fruit on the palate with just a touch of tannin. Smooth and not too demanding. A little too sweet for my palate.

Plastic milk bottle from Middle Farm, thanks to Chris. Nose of model glue and a little spice. Sweet apple cinnamon flavour. Syrupy palate with a dry finish. Not bad. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2007
A Mes rate:
Plastic milk bottle from Middle Farm thanks to Chris (and probably David too). Very sweet, smells a little like glue and tastes a little gluey. Slight wood and alcohol on the finish. Nothing to shout about. harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2007
Bottled from Middle Farm drunk at Chris_o’s HogTownHarry meet up. Gold/copper with no head. Quite a sweet, brown sugar aroma, some toastiness. Quite sweet. Honey, some alcohol. Too sweet.
