Bottle courtesy Jmichael. Pours a clear coppery amber with a lacy off-white head. A bit of nuts and toffee in the mild aroma with just a touch of resinous hops a couple of blades of new-mown grass behind them. Light body without being watery and medium carbonation without being fizzy. A bit of toast in the taste, but the palate moves along to the finish in fairly short order. More bitterness in the finish than I had expected for the style. Kinda nice! prosqtor (408) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 11, 2007
Pretty good, and perfect for a godawful hot week in Columbia in July. Nutty malt taste makes it a very satisfactory alternative to the macros. pojo41 (315) - Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA - JUN 6, 2007
Bottle. Gold-colored with a nice white head. Pretty good carbonation. Actually drank this last year on vacation. Not a great beer but, better than the mass-produced swill put out by the big boys. I like lagers and I can drink this one. LinusStick (3447) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2007
This is a good premium lager. This style may not be a favorite but this beats most that I have tasted. Aroma of corn. Highly carbonated taste of corn, sugar, metal and grass. Scoop up what you find on a barnyard floor and this is what you got. I know it doesn’t sound like it, but not bad for the style unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - FEB 27, 2007
Had this in the bottle at the Mellow Mushroom, Charleston. Golden color. aroma of corn. Smells a little green/ fresh grass. Too fizzy for me. Perfect for an AB drinker to have if they want to feel like they’re on vacation.

This is a decent little lager. This pour out golded with an average white head. Armoma is slightly sweet, slighty like corn just roasted and some grass. Taste is actually pleasing with some light grassy and hay notes. Little bit more carbonated but not too badly. Finished with a surprising little bitter but clean kick. Exceeded my expectations. seminole22 (11) - columbia, South Carolina, USA - JAN 20, 2007
This beer does not have a lot of taste, but this is not such a bad thing. A great summer beer when you are listening to David Allan Coe and discussing the socio-political situation of Darfur. NachlamSie (3467) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 4, 2007
bottle. Pours light golden with a small white head, moderately bubbly. The nose is semi-corny with sweet barley, and a papery note. The flavor is certainly crisp with tame sugar and tiny, grassy bittering notes. It’s okay, I suppose. None of the problems I usually associate with American interpretations of this style are present. tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - JAN 4, 2007
Bottle. Pours gold with white head. The aroma is honey, hay, and papaya. The flavor is papaya, grass, and white bread, with a clean finish. I was actually pleasantly surprised with this one... I was kind of expecting swill, but this is drinkable. Would make a great lawnmower beer. mstockton (225) - Frankfurt, GERMANY - NOV 7, 2006
Very good...my second variety of the Palmetto brews and I am impressed. A fancier lager with some sweetness and some spice. Definitely not your run of the mill Bud. Pours a gold color with little head...very good and of high quality.
