1st whiff and sip were typical generic lager, and it went downhill from there. Slightly vegetal offness that makes the flavor and feel more along the lines of crappy macro. Not good jcwattsrugger (12524) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 8, 2006

Bottle. Slightly sour malt and hops aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Barley malt, grass flavor with moderate hops - slight corn flavor as well but not . Very smooth and less grainy than many lagers. Very nice. jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 9, 2005
Golden yellow, small white head. Muted aroma, light lemony hops. Fairly moderate flavour, some hops but nt a lot and some limpid citrus notes. Muddled. Shared with Tupalev. alexsdad06 (10803) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - AUG 14, 2009
12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma was grainy with a hint of cardboard. The flavor was grainy, corn, mild sweetness, and a slight bitterness in the finish. A bit watery and thin. I’ll pass on this in the future. phaleslu (10652) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 31, 2015
12 oz. bottle from shrubber85- thanks again, Roger! Pours a pale clear gold color with a frothy eggshell white head. Notes of banana, sugar, cream, straw, dough, and pale malts. Light-bodied, with high soft carbonation and a sweet, malty mouthfeel. Actually the best of the three Charleston beers I had. nimbleprop (8750) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - APR 3, 2015
Sampled on tap at the brewpub, pours a clear gold with some creamy, white head. Nose has what you expect, yeasty, mild cracker, mildly gristy, honey, a little vanilla happening. Flavor follows, lightly sweet, lightly yeasty, some lemon, some malt. Medium bodied finish. Decent enough.
