Bottle from my backyard fridge. Maybe Cavie. Probably my tuba compadre (drowland). Sample's 100th, finally. Dark pour with a small brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, coffee, an maybe some dirt. Taste is a little dirt, coffee, and some unfortunate burn. Taste doesn't match the aroma, but an alright finish.

Dark beer with hints of red on the edges. Foamy beige head. Nice green coffee bean nose. Sweet malt flavors with bitter coffee and some chocolate. Grassy hops in the finish. Nice coffee beer.

A dark reddish brown porter with a thick moka head. In aroma, loads of coffee grinds over caramel malts. In mouth, a smooth coffeee porter with nice herbal hops, coffee grinds, quite nice

12 oz bottle courtesy of clt85. Thanks. pours a dark brown color with a small beige head that soon recedes to a fine film. The aroma is big and bold with coffee and chocolate. The taste features strong coffee, mocha and bitter baking chocolates. The palate is thinner than I would prefer and the carbonation is soft. Finishes medium in duration and dry. Overall: Awesome on the nose, but mouthfeel needs work--the thin palate distracts. That aside its a very good porter.

12 ounce bottle - $1.69 at Total Wine & More in Greensville, South Carolina. Appearance: Pours a very dark but clear brown body capped with a tan-hued head. Smell: Restrained coffee-hinting roastiness with a lil’ darkened grain and a lil’ dark chocolate. Taste: A gentle malty roastiness with a taste of sweetened coffee and chocolate for a slight mocha kick. Small hint of dark fruitiness. Minimal hop character and balancing bitterness. Semi-dry finish, still hinting of roasty coffee. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Not bad, just a fine, simple porter.

Nice coffee roasted malt aroma with slight sweet malt. Taste starts slight sweet malty with a nice coffee finish. Coffee bitter balances the slight malt sweetness. Full bodied but not heavy. Quite a nice Porter overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
