Good head and lacing. I wasnt thrilled by the above average hop flavors burying the malts. Solid beer, but not something Im overly thrilled with.

Pours a clear copper color with a rocky white head. It has a nice fruity hop aroma that is typical of IPAs and APAs. Medium bodied with good malty chewiness up front and finishes with a slight hop twang. A very nice American style pale ale.

Nice copper color and a nice malty aroma. Clean, malty taste with a quick burst of malty in the aftertaste with a mild lingering bitter aftertaste.

Good beer. Golden hue, decent head on pour out of bottle. Balanced dry hopping. Not explosive hops--a rarity with American pale ales these days.

I liked this a lot. Lightly bitter taste and finish. Well balanced with some caramel malt. Some spices and citrus in the taste as well. Nice complexity.

Drink this always at the NAC center, and really enjoy it. My visits are often in Aug and this is a real thirst quencher.

Bottle. Pours deep golden color full tan head. Nice floral and pine aroma from the cascade hops. Also a touch of citrus. Flavor has a mild caramel sweetness. Medium-light body, good malty feel to go along with the medium bitter finish. Overall a surprising solid ale.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2004 Off-white head. Loose lace. Sweet tea best describes the color. The aroma is floral and of hops. The taste follows all the way. The malts are hidden, slightly due to a lemon/cirtus linger. A very good beer and slightly under-rated.

From a 12 oz bottle - maybe this pale ale tasted so good because it was enjoyed while on vacation in the beautiful city of Charleston - aroma of citrus, malt, hops and pine. Taste was nice and hoppy (almost an IPA in my opinion) along with apricots, peach, pine and caramel sweetness. Lots of lacing. Very refreshing brew on a hot, humid day in S.C.
