Thin head. Taste is astringent. Not much hops either. Leaves a very unpleasent bitterness on the tongue. shrubber85 (11618) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - AUG 6, 2005
Bottle. Cherry-apple and hops aroma. Copper color with small head. Sweet cherry malt flavor initially with a moderate bitter hops finish. Nothing unpleasant but pretty much an average micro - Not unlike SNPA. Hoss (607) - Florida, USA - SEP 5, 2005
Had it on my trip to columbia. Rather low priced for a micro brew but this one was not an outstanding example of the APA, good but not grat bitter (1136) - Henderson, Nevada, USA - NOV 15, 2005

your typical look, feel, taste, light in the hops area. but compared to the other locals a bit better. still not very impressive and makes ya look around for something else. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - MAY 6, 2006
Courtesy of decatursteve - Clear amber color. Very light head. Earthy hop aroma. Not much malt. Medium body. Thanks Steve.

Bottle. Nice copper-colored beer with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. You can still taste the malt while not being overwhelmed by the hops. Overall, a very drinkable pale ale. AR (1002) - Georgia, USA - JUL 14, 2007
A nice pale ale that pours a hazy copper. Spicy with mild hops. A great hot-weather beer. JJClark (551) - Roscoe, Illinois, USA - APR 5, 2008
Bottle. Pours an orange-amber color with a frothyheap. Aroma of hops, pine and grapefruit. The flavor is slightly more aggressive, but not much. Citricly hoppy but tight, with a nice melodic balance. Nice tarty edge defines this beer. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 6, 2009
Draught. Clear coppery gold with small off-white head cap. Balanced, straightforward slightly metallic earthy aroma. Crisp refreshing nice hop kiss at finish. Good mouthfeel. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 10, 2005
I enjoyed this beer a great deal. Had a bottle of it with some sushi at sunami in Charleston. Suprisingly smooth and refreshing. A reccommendable bear for any pale ale fan.
