From a 12 oz bottle - maybe this pale ale tasted so good because it was enjoyed while on vacation in the beautiful city of Charleston - aroma of citrus, malt, hops and pine. Taste was nice and hoppy (almost an IPA in my opinion) along with apricots, peach, pine and caramel sweetness. Lots of lacing. Very refreshing brew on a hot, humid day in S.C. kelong (11) - North Carolina, USA - FEB 5, 2011
Citrusy aroma with a great bitter, hoppy finish. The color was super clear, contrary to an earlier comment. I got this beer on tap at Noisy Oyster in Charleston. mrohia (283) - Ohio, USA - JUL 7, 2013
Harbourside Burgers & Brews, Hilton Head Island, draft. Well. Sitting harborside on HHI helps. Still, it is hoppy and tasty.

On the hoppy side of a pale ale. Good citrus notes with some mild mango flavored. Very tasty and drinkable. Worth a try! crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - MAY 15, 2011
Poured a clear medium amber hue with a white head, good retention and good lace. Aroma had a typical caramel malt note and some hops. Flavor was nicely balanced and the finish was really smooth. Carbonation was just right. A great session ale. Plovmand (8683) - Grindsted, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet fruity hoppy with a good citric kick. The flavour is citrus, caramel, biscuits, peaches and sweet light toasted malt. Nice. Thanks karstenborg for sharing.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle poured into a point glass.
Aroma- Has a nice hop aroma with a citrus finish.
Appearance- A murky golden color with a small white head.
Taste- Has a nice hop flavor with a nice bitter dry finish
Palate- A light bodied brew with moderate carbonation. Dry but refreshing.
Overall- a pretty good brew, there are better but there are also far worse.

Picked up a bunch of variety singles from Publix while visting Myrtle Beach. Really like the two from Palmetto (this pale and their IPA). This has a great balance...heavy on the hops but not quite an IPA. Smooth and crisp feel. Emphasises the medium malt and light yeast finish. I’d grab a 6 pack of this next time up in that region....or have my buddy bring some down from Augusta.
