on tap in the low country. A golden amber pour with moderate head and good lacing. Mild citrus hop aroma with a surprising amount of brassy bitter flavor. Very respectable APA - I’d equate it to flying dog classic PA. Pleasantly surprised. DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - JUN 6, 2010
A medium aroma of cereal and barnyard is apparent on the forefront of this beer. It has a cloudy orange brown appearance with minimal white lacing. The beer has a good amount of hops with a hint of cereal and grass on the palate. There is also a slight caramel finish to the beer. I would drink this beer again if offered the opportunity. crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - MAY 15, 2011
Poured a clear medium amber hue with a white head, good retention and good lace. Aroma had a typical caramel malt note and some hops. Flavor was nicely balanced and the finish was really smooth. Carbonation was just right. A great session ale. beerscout (298) - New Windsor, New York, USA - JAN 10, 2012
Tap. Medium Amber Color. Foamy white head. Some lacing in the glass. Rich hop aroma, with a touch of grasses and wheat. Flavor was rich in hops and was crisp. Little harsh on the palate with the carbonation, but the rich flavor more than made up for the texture. Not bad at all. Plovmand (8312) - Helsinge, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet fruity hoppy with a good citric kick. The flavour is citrus, caramel, biscuits, peaches and sweet light toasted malt. Nice. Thanks karstenborg for sharing.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle poured into a point glass.
Aroma- Has a nice hop aroma with a citrus finish.
Appearance- A murky golden color with a small white head.
Taste- Has a nice hop flavor with a nice bitter dry finish
Palate- A light bodied brew with moderate carbonation. Dry but refreshing.
Overall- a pretty good brew, there are better but there are also far worse.

Picked up a bunch of variety singles from Publix while visting Myrtle Beach. Really like the two from Palmetto (this pale and their IPA). This has a great balance...heavy on the hops but not quite an IPA. Smooth and crisp feel. Emphasises the medium malt and light yeast finish. I’d grab a 6 pack of this next time up in that region....or have my buddy bring some down from Augusta. fraternie (1011) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 21, 2001
Nice malt but not enough balance, a bitter aftertaste lingers for awhile afterwards. Uglyradio (791) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - NOV 30, 2002
Pours a clear copper color with a rocky white head. It has a nice fruity hop aroma that is typical of IPA’s and APA’s. Medium bodied with good malty chewiness up front and finishes with a slight hop twang. A very nice American style pale ale. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 8, 2006
12oz bottle-pours a thick light tan head that laces with copper color. Aroma is lively hops, sweet, malt. Taste initially starts out thin, then mild caramel malt followed by nice biting medium hops. Medium/light body. Improved with the second one.
