3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2005 Bottled at Mission Grille in Sister Bay, WI. This is contract-brewed by Sand Creek Brewing Co. Clear golden pour with a short, but well-retained white head. Aroma had a solid amount of citrus and pine hoppiness, yet contained a subtle berry-like sweetness. Nice and bitter as well as slightly oily on the palate. Well-balanced malt backbone. Bitter citrus finish. Nicely hopped for the flavor, too, with some sweet caramel malts. Crisp and refreshing... nice brew.
355ml bottle. Hazed amber pour. Smell is pure malt and oxidized, the beer is old. Purchased at Binny’s Lincoln Park. They strike again with another out of date beer in the mix six. Clean it up vav. Flavor is basic, slightly pickly, no hops, just stale malt. hotstuff (5281) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Rated on 10-28-2010. This bottled beer has a small fizzy white head with a short retention, hazy yellow golden body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The is caramel malt, grain, citrus, and pine hops. The taste is semi-sweet, caramel malt, grainy, citrus and pine hops. The mouth feel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is easy drinking but does not enjoy a lot of character and not a beer I will drink again. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - DEC 16, 2013
Pours yellow amber. Thin head. Slightly too bitter for the style. Very hoppy. Drinkable but not well balanced. kaser (6430) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 14, 2013

Clear orange golden colour with a small white head.
The aroma is very sweet with some mild hops and lots of caramel maltiness. The flavour is also sweet. There’s some bitterness, mild resiny hops and sweet maltiness. Very sweet APA.
bottle. Deep golden with small head. Bitter and medicinal. Yuck. Haven’t had much luck at all with this brewery. Someday I’ll learn. jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - APR 12, 2013
12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly cloudy dark orange with a half finger of off white head. Aroma of light citrus and floral hops. Taste is light bitter. Fkoral and citrus. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Drinkable but not super special. edgallow (4634) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 9, 2013

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Clear copper color brew with off white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops, barely detectable caramel malt. Taste is light malt at the very start then hops kick in, lemon citrus, a bit tart and dry in the finish. Solidly hoppy though the lemon overtone is a bit different. A little spice and tart fruit in the very finish. I think this is a solid APA, better than most.
