UPDATED: OCT 24, 2016 500ml bottle. Pours gold with a small white head. Aroma is glorious sweet floral mango and papaya with a touch of floral pine. Flavour is surprisingly sharp, with a little tartness coming through with the tropical fruit, giving a passionfruit type flavour. Also some grassy sweetness in the finish. This is big flavour and just lets those NZ hops sing. Really quite delicious. drjoeng (1461) - SINGAPORE - AUG 21, 2016
Tapped out clear amber. 8ºSRM.
Nose is flowery, aromatic and redolent of freesias, sampagita, magnolias, jasmine. Nice citrus finish at the end that is suggestive of Kaffir lime. Overall reminds me of south-indian garlands that are heavy on the jasmine and have a hint of lime.
Mouthfeel is full bodied and light soapy. Palate has a salty, spicy bready front that melds slowly into the middle and then into spicy with cilantro and pepper. Hops are pine, spicy and bitter and maybe a little minty...hyssop.
Finish is medium.

500ml bottle. Pours clear, golden, with a short-lived head. Aroma is strong with mostly pine, resin, some pineapple and caramel in there too. Sweet, almost overpoweringly so, leading to a huge bitter finish which lingers on. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Heavy stuff. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 2, 2016
[8426-20160531] Tap. Floral hoppy orange aroma. Slightly hazy, pale orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter orange pine hops flavour has a touch of green. Medium body is fairly bitter. Good. (7/3/8/4/14) 3.6

2016-05-31. Aroma of celery and leafy hop vegetation. Light notes of resiny orange peel. Flavour has huge celery and green hop character up front. Some fruity citrus comes to the fore but the celery continues to distract. Moderate bitterness throughout. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. 3+ Shows such potential but is ultimately not quite fitted to my own tastes. 7/3/7/3/14 On tap at 16 Tuns, Auckland, NZ.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy slightly dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, a little pine, and a sweet caramel malt backbone. Flavour is quite juicy, with tropical stone fruits, piney hops, a little resin and caramel bready malt. Prominent astringency on the finish. Well-balanced with a juicy finish. Really nice stuff, just a tad chewy and thick for an IPA. OsuStu (287) - - MAY 1, 2016
500ml bottle. Light colored goldish orange with a thin soapy white head. Aroma of oranges, lemon peel, grass, funk and spices. Sweet citrus, clove, a bit of pine and earthiness, herbal notes, alcohol. Medium carbonation and medium body. A bit of bite in the finish. Samtzu (629) - Palmerston North, NEW ZEALAND - APR 22, 2016
UPDATED: APR 22, 2016 500ml fresh hop can. Possibly an issue with my nose because I can?t smell what I would expect from a big hoppy beer like this. Despite this the flavour and palate is exceptional. Everything you enjoyed about the vandal but with that fresh taste.
